Building Your Site

Mountain Publisher has two components: a "front-end" for the public to view your site's content on the Web, and a "back-end" for content management by the site owner.

THE FRONT-END

Database Population: The content of a Web site that uses Mountain Publisher is stored in an MS SQL 2000 database. When adding and formatting content for the site, the term "database population" is used. For clients who license the software, Mountain Media will populate up to 10 pages of content per site deployed. The client must identify which content Mountain Media will lay out and flow into the database. The content for these pages must be provided by the client in electronic format, pre-proofed and free of grammatical errors.
